Hej Allihopa!

I am a 26-year old Swede. I was born in Sweden’s capital, Stockholm. I have lived in many countries around the world but out of all the places I have lived in and visited nothing beats the beauty and landscapes of Sweden.

Having already learned to speak Spanish and English, I have always sought out the opportunity to turn my passion for my native Swedish into reality. In the past year I have started posting and releasing easily digestible and quick to learn videos and posts all based around learning Swedish and the feedback has been amazing.

Why I Do It

I have always been a person who values seeing things from other people’s perspective and what better way to do that then learn the language they speak. Suddenly, when we learn to speak someone else’s language a new door opens up. We can see not only how they think, but also what makes them tick. When it comes to learning Swedish, I want to share how the people of “lagom” and “fika” think and feel. Combined with the benefit of online learning and doing it all on your own time, I decided it was time to launch an online video course aimed at getting you started on your very own Swedish-learning journey.

Fun Facts About Me

I am an Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Practitioner!

For the past two years I have fallen in love with the sport and learned true humility, determination, and overcoming self-doubt. It is also an amazing group of people you get to spend hours on end with, a good thing when you are trying to choke each other out haha! I intend to practice the sport for the rest of my life and I cannot recommend giving it a try enough.

Skiing over beaches!

When given the opportunity I will always take a ski holiday over a boring week on the beach. There is nothing like feeling the cold wind against my face and the fluffy snow under my skis as I race down a mountain. My family always made skiing a priority for us as both Sweden and the rest of Europe have some of the best slopes in the world. It is an amazing pastime that my father showed me and I cannot imagine a better past time than hitting the slopes.

Learning new languages!

I currently speak Swedish, Spanish, and English but I am very interested in languages like Portuguese and German since to me they sound beautiful. Quite a few of my relatives are German so visiting them gives me a good chance to practice. I also studied Arabic for 3 years in high school and it was some of the most fun I have ever had.
